There will be a festival of the free flight during ‘Beglika Fest 2009’ – ‘Crazy Chicken’. It is organized for everybody who has ever dreamed to fly. Each and every participant in the competition will have the opportunity to test the costume or flying machine that he himself had invented, flying over the loading platform over ’Golyam Beglik’ dam.

Flying costume

In this discipline each of he participants will fly with the costume that he himself has made. Te jury and the public will asses the start, the grace of the flight, the distance and the mildness of the ‘watering’ and the attractiveness of the costume as well.
In this discipline you can use on or two old umbrellas, a mackintosh with a vast wing area, a raincoat, a hat with big years (chequered or not), different  kind of fins, shoes with springs, parachute underpants and everything else that comes to your mind. 

Flying machine

In this discipline the flying machines that you build will be competing. It is recommended that their construction begins before the start of the festival because of the technical time for their manufacture. You may participate in teams and the pilot may be more than one. The distance of the flight, the appeal of the construction and the skills of the crew will be assessed.
Now you have the opportunity to test you construction and pilot skills, to fly with a four-winged wardrobe, crooked bicycle, fire dragon, rocketcar or with your genius idea that will change the aviation industry forever.
